Apprehensive

Hmm. Today, according to my plans, is the day I go back to karate after a three-month break. Not only am I fat and unfit now, but I'm also still a bit worried about my knee (snowboarding injury) and my ankle (the random problem which made me stop going in the first place.)

I'm not sure if I'm going to go. I know I should, and that I can just take it easy until I get back to fitness, but it's been so long and I just feel very lardy and not up to it.

Hmm.

Go! Karate seems to always make you feel good about yourself and energises you too, and you'll feel such a huge sense of achievement if you stick to your guns and go.

As you said, ease yourself into it gently but go!

(But, just incase you're really not up to it, don't beat yourself up about it if you don't go!)

You could always go and see how it goes, if anything goes crunch you can always hobble home :) As for the lardyness - surely that's one of the reasons to be going?
