Observations so far today


  • Honey and lemon strepils truly do not go well with coffee

  • If your boss doesn't recognise your voice when you phone in sick, that's probably not a bad thing. On the other hand, why would Barry White have been calling him, anyway?

  • Twenty hours of yet-unlistened audiobooks makes a great alternative to daytime TV

Further Observations


  • The new Lee Child book is awful. Some of the previous ones have been entertaining fluff, which I though would be good for a sick day, but Nothing to Lose is just plain hopeless.

  • It's not fair to be at home sick and not find Columbo on the TV.
